My Nana was 1 of 11 Children, she was the last to pass away at a beautiful age of 89. A Mother to 3 girls a Grandmother to the 5 of us and Great Grandmother to 5 and Isla who  sadly missed out by a few months on the best Nan Nan hugs.

In Nana's later years she just wanted to be reunited with her brothers & sister and her parents whom she lost at a young age and her husband she lost tragically when my mother was 2.

My Nana was my world & my rock, I would call her every day and drop past several times a week for cups of teas and chit chat.

Flowers were always in conversation along with ""when i go, i don't want anything, NO service No Flowers, nothing, just let me go""

I have always respected my Nana and always will however this topic was always finished with ""Nana i love you but tough luck your getting flowers NO matter what"" some people might say why did i go against this wish, and the simply answer is at least once a week on my way home from work i would take Nana some flowers which brought some joy in to her day, it made her smile.

When she passed it was heart wrenching, but she was at peace.

Her casket flowers were a mix of flowers she loved and grew and also included flowers that she had in her wedding bouquet & daffodils and erlicheer that her & the family picked  at picnics at Kyneton. Yellows were added as she often wore it. Another little personal touch to her casket flowers were her Royal Doulton tea cups added as anyone who went to Nana's often enjoyed a cuppa.

It's the little things that count, The personal touches and

Honoring them in special ways,

Saying Good-Bye to a loved one is a heart breaking time.

Let Hidden Florist help send off your treasured one with quality flowers.
